"Here." Lunk pointed to strange letterings that Blip didn't understand. Wavy lines, all drawing away from a central mass, each diverting to a separate portion of the mecha's infrastructure. "See that? There are five interface ports. This thing's meant for a team."
          
          Blip's brow furrowed. He didn't understand the language, but he understood enough of what he was hearing. "Five?"
          
          "Five minds. Five energy patterns. Maybe five separate control nodes. I don't know. Siara knows more about this sort of thing than I do—she loves space—but this isn't a solo machine, surely. And if someone left this for us on purpose—"
          
          "Then they already picked their pilots," Blip finished quietly.
          
          "And we are definitely not here by accident."

Just dropping this here as I forgot to make the announcement a while back.
