As we come to a close with Prisoner with only one official chapter left (it could end up being two but we'll see) and an Epilogue, I feel that it's important to put out an announcement about this fic.
On Wattpad, this fic ranks #10 in the tag KakashixOC and currently has been read in 5 continents (Africa and Antarctica being the two this fic hasn't reached yet.)
It also has an amazing statistic of having over 50% of a completed reading rate for each chapter with the exception of two of them at 47% and 48%. What this means is that at the absolute LOWEST, 47% of people who read a chapter of this fic will finish that chapter. Out of 42, only 2 fall below 50%. The highest? 83%. That is INSANE for a fic written by an author with barely anything else written!

I cannot express how many feelings I have about this. As my most popular fic and the largest project I've EVER done in my entire time of writing fanfics (12 years!!!), this is not what I expected for this fic and I am so over the moon happy about it.
A sequel and a prequel are planned with fully developed plotlines and, by a vote on AO3, the sequel is going to be written first taking place during Boruto with Kakashi and Avurin's child being the main character. I am extremely excited for this and I feel that everything I've learned in writing Prisoner is going to make the sequel and prequel so much better.
