@OUCookie76 Yes, but thankfully not such a direct path that we'll have damage, flooding, and down trees. We're less than a mile from the main river in Jacksonville, so storm surge is our biggest threat, but so far so good. We'll just have to wait it out and asses things throughout the day and night.

How did we get up to 3.2K views? What? That's crazy! Last time I checked the story was around 2.1K! I hope everyone is enjoying this story. =) I see more and more HYS fics popping up and I think it's such a tribute to the characters and OG story.
If you want to read something non HYS fic, I rec "According to Tara" by Writerswrite_19 ! Beautifully written. We all have those crushes/boyfriends as a teen that we wonder if we ran into again 10 years later would the spark still be there? Would we get answers about why it ended?

I'm really happy to find other HYS fanfics on here! I am holding off on reading them until mine is done so I stay focused but if you write HYS fanfic give yourself a pat on the back, damn it! I know how it can be--an idea overwhelmingly hits you and then continuing to write can be tough whether from time or the actual nitty gritty of writing. Loving our HYS characters is easy--Writing is hard! I encourage all of you in your HYS writing endeavors!
I'm still working on the next 3 chapters. The Party chapter is done, but it's a long chapter so I may break it up into 2 parts and post part 1 once I get a little further along on The Ploy and The Date chapters.
