            "I need you to promise me... that,  you'll never see me again.."  He fought nack tears as he said this. He would gently grab Paige's hands with his own. "

            She looked at him. "Tell me." she insisted. She said those words ever so softly, and she had somehow gotten out of here. "I'll listen." and when she was committed to a promise, wherether it was hers or his, she would keep it.
