I am probably not going to be persistent and have a schedule for my updates (on ANY story) like I used to. I love wattpad and it really got me into writing, but I have a lot to do and wattpad is not the most important thing to me right now.

(Ignore typos and instead read my sick ass advice)
When I first started writing, I was in fourth grade. It was really bad of course, but I did start then. My first piece of literally me taking the first Percy Jackson chapter and changing everything to be about me and my godly father (which is apollo of course). I continued to write little stories about friends and me having special powers. Later on in fifth grade, I stopped writing because I was bored. I gave up on reading too. After someone introduced me to more books and a variety of authors and worlds to read about, I began to write fanfiction and about other things that interested me, not just myself and fire powers. 

In my opinion, fanfiction is one of the the best ways to start writing. You dont have to worry about publishing it to the world, just to a few people around your age that are interested in what you're interested in. You also don't have to make up characters because you know these people who you write about. 

BUT, there comes a time where writing fanfiction has to end. Fanfiction is beautiful, but if you take your talent into the real world please write what your head says, not about what professionals heads say.
