"Hey there, Sugarplum! Did you dream sweetly?" a cheerful voice rang out to her.
          
          Kanha squinted her eyes. She was reluctant to see any of them more than she had during their last encounter. The irritation was creeping in once again so early in the morning. She held off until he approached her before she finally turned to face him.
          
          He approached Kanha with an infectious grin that brightened the atmosphere and banished any hint of gloom. Kanha took a swift glance at him from head to toe before locking eyes once again.
          
          She never gave him the impression that he could get that close to her. So Kanha simply shot him a blank look to indicate she wasn't comfortable with him encroaching on her personal space.
          
          "Do you remember who I am? You can't possibly forget my charming smile," he playfully asked her as if they were old friends. Being a bit taller than her, Kanha leaned in slightly, but she shrugged off his humor, shaking her head twice in boredom before turning around and walking away.
          
          "Hold on! I'm just teasing you, okay? Wait!" he attempted to hold Kanha back and chose to walk alongside her instead.
