The book started off strong and it hooked me but then after the whole evil Dutches/ stepmother I just started becoming confused. Like when this Casper become such a sarcastic ass wasn't he a quiet brooding prince? Also when did that come Vincent's kingdom all of a sudden? Just so many questions. I feel like the plot and the structure is there but the unexpected characters that appear like the king all of a sudden and how some of the characters have personality changes are really confusing and just taking away from where and how rhw book should be proceeding.
