Writing is a hobby for me, it entertains me and keeps me busy while still improving on the way. It's like music, I listen to be entertained and it keeps me distracted while still learning something on the way. 
Or I just resort to video games.

Honestly, I have way too much free time in my hand. Although, my "free time" is basically just me procrastinating or finding the motivation to do my work.
