          	•   when people started asking about their son, he told them that he was doing some training in another kingdom so, when it was time for him to be king, he'd be ready for it.
          	•   of course, that was a lie. to keep the secret.
          	•   several years later, the king's health was failing. there was no one to take his place. he could've informed relatives, but not letting anyone know what happened to his son was more important. 
          	•   so, he had a servant find a boy who'd be close to altair's age. someone who could /be/ altair. 
          	•   that's were errin comes in. his father and him were both servants to the royal family. he was born only a year before the real altair. the servant thought he'd be a good fit.
          	•   so, he became the "prince". and, a year later when the king died, he took his place. 
          	•   only a few people know he's not the real one: his royal advisor, his parents, and some of the staff.
          	•   and so far?? he really sucks at this "king" thing. he can hardly /read/. his royal advisor really has his work cut out for him.
