Fun fact about the Archie comic book run of Sonic the Hedgehog:
          	
          	There is two Robotniks. One is from the SatAM cartoon and the other is from an alternate universe. The first one died early on and they had to make a brief stand-in. Now here's the kicker; the one the writers came up with is an Ivo that won the Great War, turned himself into a robot to achieve immortality and wages a campaign through the multiverse against Sonic and the Freedom Fighters until he finds himself in the one true Mobius. He stays in Prime long enough that the Zone Cops (SEGA's equivalent of the TVA) can't arrest him or else reality itself will collapse because he's integral to dimensional stability. This is also how the redesign of Eggman was squeezed into the narrative.

          	  The first season basically goes through short arcs to make sure Iron Queen, Ixis Naugus and longer arc for Snivley gets them done in order to make room for Robotnik’s return
          	  
          	  Also events from the games had to be changed around in order so certain things can happen quickly, like the Wisps showing up early so Wispons can be used and drag in Whisper from IDW
