" you look , distracted "
[ The heavy thud of the door sealing shut behind them acted like a catalyst, stripping away the last of Lucian’s performative patience. In the sudden, oppressive quiet of the alleyway, his presence seemed to expand, his silhouette cutting a jagged edge against the dim glow of the streetlights. He didn't move immediately; he stood as a statue in the shadows, his eyes fixed on the back of Levi’s head with a gaze that was less human and more like the steady, unblinking focus of a predator watching a wound. He moved forward with a silent, rolling gait that didn't disturb a single pebble on the pavement. Closing the distance until he was a looming wall of heat against Levi’s back, he tilted his head to the side. His expression was a mask of dark, concentrated intensity—his brow slightly furrowed as he tracked the visible tremors in Levi’s frame, a faint, sharp smirk beginning to tug at the corner of his mouth. It wasn't a look of affection, but the grim satisfaction of a man who had successfully cornered something beautiful and dangerous. Reaching out, Lucian didn't grab him. Instead, he let his hand hover just inches from Levi’s shoulder, the air between them sparking with the friction of their proximity. His eyes flickered with a sudden, dark flash of possessiveness, his nostrils flaring slightly as if he were catching the scent of Levi’s desperation. He leaned in until his breath fanned against the shell of Levi’s ear, his jaw tightening as he savored the heavy, suffocating tension he had promised. ]
@bloodshed [ His sharp eyes flickered up, his senses heightened. The other rose with such ease that it made him doubt his own centre of gravity, as if his feet were made of pure lead and refused to let him move. Levi felt his skin crawl. Cold air reached him from somewhere, or was it perhaps imagined. His mind swam, the room was hot and yet he never felt colder, and in the presence of the other he all but melted like ice on the sun. The tilt of his head was enough to ground him, and his gaze tilted towards the exist like camera lenses click into place. Slowly, he rose as well, broad frame yet careful akin to a cat's as he moved around the tables, chairs, without making a sound. He felt his senses heighten as if on command, and by the other's demand he moved first, catching scent of the other's warm flesh in passing, and nearly turning the restaurant into chaos by latching onto him then and there. Levi brushed past people, past air and scent of food, the exit doors shut with the darkness peeking around the door hinges like splatters of paint. Slowly, he pushed the door open, revealing the darkness outside the building, illuminated by three dull street lights, and by a moon that shyly hid behind clouds. His mind reeled, the fresh air struck him hard. Still, his focus didn't weaver. His eyes fell on his company the second those doors closed, and when they did he smiled - brief, with barely restrained hunger. They were alone now. ]
[ Lucian felt the phantom warmth of Levi’s breath against his palm, a sensation that should have been a dismissal but felt more like a brand. As Levi pulled back, Lucian didn’t immediately let his hand drop; instead, his fingers lingered for a fraction of a second too long against the other’s skin, a silent promise kept. With a fluid, predatory grace, Lucian rose to his full height. The transition was seamless, the movement of a man who lived and breathed in the margins of safety. He looked down at Levi, his silhouette cutting a sharp, dark figure against the ambient light of the room. The 'lethal hum' in his chest hadn't faded; if anything, it had sharpened into a focused edge. He didn't offer a hand to help Levi up—not out of cruelty, but because he respected the hunger he saw. He wanted to see Levi rise on his own accord, driven by that same desperate need. A ghost of a smirk remained on his lips, though his eyes remained cold and observant, scanning the room one last time to ensure their exit would be as clean as a blade's stroke. ] " Then let’s not keep ourselves waiting. " [ His voice was a low, gravelly friction, barely audible over the pulse of the crowd he so despised. He turned his head slightly, gesturing toward the shadowed exit with a jerk of his chin, his gaze snapping back to Levi with an expectant, heavy intensity. ] " I find I have very little patience for 'too many people' when there is a debt to be collected. Lead the way, Levi. Somewhere quiet, where the only thing left to suffocate you... is me. "
your profession is a little on the nose, isn’t it ?
@killerwidows [ He spared her a glance, his own mouth curling into a brief smile to her statement. He was two different things in one, a combination that shouldn't exist and yet - here he was. The Russian hummed thoughtfully just to entertain her more before adding ] it is an infinite source of nutrition.
@FANGEDFXCK ( … ) you mean the fact that a surgeon is meant to sew people back together and yet you’re also the one spilling their blood in the first place ? [ the russian woman asked the vampire bluntly, the corners of her mouth twitching to betray the amusement she found in this. ] not at all.
/ a starter to make up for my absence :’) I’m sorry ml
The vampire stumbled across the threshold with unsteady grace, her movements betraying a potent mix of indulgence and exhaustion. A soft hiccup punctuated her otherwise lilting, effervescent tone as she gestured lazily for her caretaker to follow her inside the opulent apartment. The night had stretched on far longer than intended—drawn out by her relentless drinking and careless feeding, the latter taken from equally impaired clubgoers who had scarcely been aware of her presence. Beneath the haze of intoxication, however, lingered a sharper edge of emotion—one she stubbornly refused to name, even to herself. Watching lingering glances cast toward the dancers had unsettled her more than she would ever admit.
“Leviiiii…”
His name spilled from her lips in a drawn-out, petulant whine as she all but collapsed onto the sofa, her slight frame sinking into the cushions. One leg draped carelessly over the armrest, revealing smooth, flawless skin, while her manicured fingers disappeared into the tangled mess of ebony hair atop her head. Hours earlier, it had been styled to perfection; now, it stood as a testament to the chaos of the evening.
“Why’d we have to leave?” she murmured, her voice laced with a childish frustration as she tilted her head back, staring aimlessly toward the ceiling. “The night is still young…” A brief pause followed, punctuated by another soft hiccup, before her lips curved into a faint, self-satisfied pout. “And that bartender was definitely eyeing me up and down.”
Her tone carried a mix of teasing bravado and misplaced confidence, though it did little to mask the underlying restlessness that clung to her—a contradiction of vanity, irritation, and something far less easily defined.
@bloodofmalk He smiled when he saw the pout on her lips. Much like a child, she scoffed and rolled her eyes at him, he could sense her shift and coil on his lap like a disturbed serpent. He folded his free arm to support his head on it, watching and listening to her with little interest. "And you know who is worth my time?" He inquired curiously, his head tilting and falling into the fold of his elbow. "I mean... she was cute." Levi mulled it over again, the smile and curve of that woman's body, the clothes she wore... then his eyes dropped to the perfection laying sprawled over him, her features impeccable beneath her makeup. The makeup itself wasn't necessary, the same way polishing a diamond was unnecessary. His eyes trailed over her face for a moment, and he allowed his gaze to freely move where it wanted before he would exhale deeply and reach for another cigarette. "You're a bit controlling malyoshka."
@FANGEDFXCK To say the Frenchwoman’s expression betrayed her rising fury would have been an understatement. Her cheeks puffed in a distinctly childish display, arms folding tightly across her chest in stubborn defiance. Though every instinct urged her to soften beneath his touch, Delia resisted, holding her ground as she pressed on with her interrogation, jealousy simmering just beneath the surface. She shifted restlessly where she sat, the skin beneath his hem feeling as though it was increasingly heating up . Her gaze refused to settle, flicking toward him only to dart away again in exaggerated annoyance. A soft, dramatic huff left her as she tilted her chin upward, as if daring him to challenge her, the subtle jut of her lower lip and the tension in her posture betraying a bratty need for attention she refused to admit. “Be-cause—you should know she’s, like, très (very) skanky and definitely not worth your time,” she snapped, her tone laced with unmistakable envy.
@bloodofmalk His eyes remained dull, barely fixed on the chandelier that hung cold above their heads. He felt her shift yet paid her no mind, only the motion from the ashtray to his mouth was a bother for him. He felt his muscles strain, and despite being in silence he could still hear the loud bass in his ears as if bewitched by it. Levi flickered his eyes to her when she rose as if from the dead, and effectively dodged her attack without killing his cigarette in the process. Her jealousy was evident. He tapped the end of his cigarette against the metal ashtray before straightening up a bit, his free arm resting on the backrest of the couch. He vaguely remembered the girl, in fact if Delia didn't mention her he would've forgotten. In his foggy mind only the scent of her perfume and hesitant hands came in view. He put his cigarette out. "I did." The other replied and excess smoke seeped from his lips. Green eyes turned to her finally, the untamed ends of his hair clouded his already tired vision. He curled his lips into a smile. "I like strays. Strays see gold where pampered puppies see copper." Levi mused, and drew his nails over the lenght of her bare leg as if insinuating..something, and only did they halt at the end material of her dress. "Why do you ask?"
" you really chose two professions that guarantee people panic whenever you walk into a room. "
[ Lucian tilted his head slightly, his icy gaze tracking the frantic pulse jumping in a nurse's neck as she hurried past them. He turned back to the other surgeon, a glint of lethal irony surfacing in his dark eyes as a sharp, knowing smirk pulled at his lips. ] " Careful. If you keep looking at the patients like that, 'medical malpractice' is going to be the least of the worries, " [ he remarked, his voice a low, dry drawl that barely carried over the sound of the hospital monitors. ] " Try to keep your dinner and your day job on separate floors, would you ? It's bad for the hospital's reputation if the surgeons start eating the clientele. "
/ Anyone willing to romance with this man?

never thought i'd see one of my own in a long shot , come sit . what's your concern today then ?
@vampedit / all good no worries [ His head tilted. The other drank down the bag as if life itself was in it, and Levi watched the blood flee from the plastic and paint the vampire's lips a crimson red. It seemed only after he had eaten that the other realized how sloppily he might have done it, but Levi couldn't care less. He smiled and took the empty bag, flicking it into the bin nearby. ] you're welcome. Situations like yours happen to me often, so it's better to be prepared than to lash out in public. [ His eyes fell to his hand before he would catch a stray streak of blood off his own palm, a possible leftover from the bag. Levi licked his mouth clean, dragging a long tongue over the length of his canines before turning to his company again. ] Do not allow humans to see you falter. You can come in here whenever you need a refill. I may have also forgotten your name. [ The Russian added with an amused chuckle, and took a step closer. Wiping his hands clean (which he found amusing), Levi extended a cold, scarred hand towards him, his green eyes ablaze, curious, entertained. ] Mikhailov, but Levi is preferred when we are alone.
/ omg ir sent too early
... thank you
{ he muttered sfter a few long seconds , brows furrowed as a light pink dusted on pale skin. he didnt drink nor feast in front of other vampires , he preferred the privacy of life }
i didnt know you had a supply
{ to say he was starving was an understatement , he felt as though he thirsted for the sweetest honey the gods could offer , and it was hanging by a jar in front of him -- simply out of reach }
{ he looks hesitantly at the bag , it was such a large amount .. and lazaros usually had the dignity of using a straw as though it were a juice , but dignity was not for the hungry as he grabbed it , tearing a slit on its side as he chugged , crimson ichor dripping from his lips as his pupils turned into slits as he did }
{ there was something almost intimate , watching or rather being watched by another vampire as he drank especially as he was thirsty }
/ Gonna give this man textured tongue the same one a cat has ;)
" what … i just did it for you , and now it’s a problem ? "
[ Lucian didn’t just lean in; he subsided. The tension that usually held his spine rigid—the muscle memory of a man always looking for an exit—simply evaporated. He allowed his forehead to rest against Levi’s, closing his eyes as he breathed in the scent of the vampire, cold and ancient yet more grounding than anything he’d found in the sun. ] " Then stop running, " [ he breathed, the words a ghost of a command against Levi’s lips. He tilted his head just enough to deepen the contact of Levi’s thumb against his mouth, his own hand tightening its grip on the vampire’s wrist. ] " I’ve spent my life being the thing people flee from. You don’t have to do that here. If your heart is trembling... let it beat against mine until it remembers how to be still. "
@bloodshed [ He exhaled shakingly. Relief washed over him like an icy bath, his shoulders shook with the effort to release air from his lungs. It wasn't hard to notice it, how quickly they recognized each other as if their souls stared right through their bodies. Looking at this human felt like looking into a mirror. The vampire brushed a thumb down the other's jaw, feeling the soft edge of his lips before halting there. ] "I ran away from something like this." [ The weak voice broke the silence in the room, Levi's gaze unfocused, weary of the chase. His shoulders sat lax beneath his neck. Gently, his thumb pressed against the edge of Lucian's mouth, feeling the gentle bumps of his canines that instantly pulled a shaky laugh from his chest. ] "I thought I would die if..." [ His voice died into nothing, his old, dead heart erupted into frightened tremors, trapped within his ribs. With a swipe he moved his hands, the tips of his fingers gently pressing into the root of the man's hair, as if the warmth of another body was a hearth he couldn't move away from. ]
[ Lucian let out a sharp, breathless exhale that was less of a laugh and more of a surrender. He didn't flinch at the word 'frighten'; instead, he leaned his cheek into Levi’s hand, his skin humming where the vampire’s thumbs traced his bone structure. His expression softened into something dangerously vulnerable—the look of a man who had spent his life in the shadows and had finally found someone who recognized the shape of his soul. ] " Then let it frighten you, " [ he murmured, his voice dropping to a rough, velvet-edged whisper. He reached up, his leather-clad fingers locking firmly around Levi’s wrist, not to pull him away, but to anchor him there. ] " I've spent my life ending others to feel something this real. If the dark is where we meet, Levi... I’m not looking for the light anymore. "
