FLORALANDFORGOTTEN

my eyes look out the window as the sun shines down onto the trees, illuminating the newly bloomed blossoms. spring was here, and it was no secret. the weather was warm and the bees were buzzing. the butterflies flew with such grace most wish to possess and the grass was fresh cut, it's scent being carried on through the breeze. i sigh gently and smile as a small lady bug lands on the ledge in front of me, picking it up on my finger. i look down at the small creature, it's eyes staring back up at me before i whisper to it gently, a question i've been thinking of all day in my head. one that has been burning at my soul, "why can't people mind their own damned business and be mature like the rest of us? who has the time to be as bitchy as thee?"
