meet the new and improved ARCADIA BROOKS , a man born with supernatural powers that have proven to be a goddamn CURSE .
arc had a relatively normal childhood . he grew up in a middle classed family in gotham city , and whilst his family had its problems , they were never anything significant enough to warrant real concern . that was , of course , until arc reached the age of twelve and everything changed for the worst .
on his birthday , during his PARTY , his older brother decided to play a small prank on arcadia . they scared him , made him jump in terror and they triggered an unimaginable curse . that fright , along with him being in the prime age of change , made arcadia act out in an unprecedented manner .
something within that child snapped and supernatural powers burst out of him , killing everyone within that house ( mother , father , older brother and grandmother ) . POWERS EXPLAINED IN SEPERATE COMMENT !
his POWERS :
arcadia has the ability to freeze people from the inside out . he can focus the ability on only one person , or if he loses control , anyone within a thirty metre radius is at risk of falling victim to his powers . THEY ARE FUELLED BY EMOTION ! his skin is noticeably cold and anyone who touches him for too long will get frostnip . the air around him is also incredibly cold , no matter the season .
because of this , he ALWAYS wears turtlenecks , coats , long pants and leather gloves to minimise the risk he poses to people who might accidentally touch him .
arc was thrown into jail for nine years and only recently was released . he's still on gotham polices watch list , with regular check ins at arkham asylum to insure he doesn't fall to the dark side . HE COULD CAUSE MAYHEM !
so now , he's your average gothamite with a horrific criminal record , and a minimum wage job . on the plus side , he has a bit of wealth due to life insurance . on the negative side , people treat him like a goddamn villain and he's stuck with childhood trauma .
