My name is Fred Espina I am a set designer and art director in film. I've studied Architecture, interior design, publishing and journalism at TMU (Ryerson) and the International Academy of Design (this private school has changed it's name). I've written a few articles in the early 2000s but put writing aside to pursue other entrepreneurial projects. In 2013 my colleagues and I were granted a US patent for an ecommerce process; while waiting for other tech related projects to mature I thought it would be fun to be an intern on a movie set and 10 years later I still haven't looked back.  I am a 2nd generation Canadian born to Asian immigrants and have lived the last 25 years in Toronto. I love gardening and although I wouldn't consider myself a prepper, I still adhere to the boy scout motto of 'be prepared' 

I am a father to two usually wonderful children and a husband to a loving and patient wife.
