Vox tilted his head to the side as he had watched the little fish demon work, an eyebrow raised at him. "Do you always talk to yourself when you work? Sounds like you're having some kind of crisis."
          
          For all the tv overlord knew was that Baxter was losing his marbles.

            "Then eat outside of the tower for all I care." He shook his head and turned his back towards the other, now somewhat spaced out. He just couldn't believe what he had been currently hearing at the moment. How terrible.

“Ack!  Watch the eyes, would you?!” Vox groans in agony while trying his best to be still for the bioengineered scientist who was currently fixing the overlord’s screen face after Valentino had cracked it for the billionth time or so.

            Baxter let out an exasperated sigh. "This wouldn't be hurting if you'd just quit your annoying squirming! You're acting like I'm trying to skin you alive." He huffed, shaking his head to re-center his focus before continuing with his task. "I thought you would've learned by now to not push Valentino's buttons."

          How’s your test running along with those angelic weapons?? Figured out how to relocate them yet?” came an enthusiastic tone from the overlord, smiling ear to ear across his screen after today’s victory.

            Baxter raised an eyebrow. "Carmilla is actually working with you? I thought you said that she was one of the overlords who denounced your actions. How did you make her change your mind? Or are you just bluffing like you were last time?"

            Vox merely chuckled at his angered tone he’d grown accustomed to over the years of bursting into ongoing experiments at any given moment. “Yes yes, I remember our deal—- but lighten up, Baxxy! Today’s a big win for the team! And I’ll have you know that I’ve convinced Carmilla to help with our war weapons!” His lips peeled back over razor, shark like teeth laced in maniacal/sinister joy.

            Baxter jumped at the sudden sound of Vox's voice. "Didn't I tell you to warn me whenever you decide to grace me with your presence?!" He hissed, soon taking a breath to calm down. "I'm making progress. But I'm afraid I might need some assistance from Carmilla Carmine. She knows these weapons better than I do."
