...My little sister is fighting cancer...
And every day feels like a battle we don't know if we'll win. Watching someone you love more than anything in the world lose pieces of themselves to an illness you can't fight for them... it breaks you in ways I can't explain.
Every chapter I post, every read I get-it all means more than words. It means that while my sister is hooked up to machines, too tired to smile, I can tell her, "Look, people care. People are listening. People are here with us." And for a moment, it gives her light.
So thank you-every vote, every comment, every little bit of support-it's not just for me. It's for her. It's a reminder that even in all this pain, we're not alone.
