Despicable behaviour by the Delhi police, laathi charging at peaceful protestors. There were children and senior citizens in the protest and they didn't even show them any mercy. Male police officers hit the women in the protest. People were hit over their heads, their bones were broken. A 20 year old woman had to even be hospitalized after being hit in the neck. All they are asking for is the for accountability and resignation of the Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, for these paper leaks and compensation for the families of the 20+ students that committed suicide because of this. The incompetence of the government truly shines through with how they're ignoring the matter. Lakhs of students spend years isolated in their rooms studying 14+ hours a day, only for paper leaks to destroy their hard work. Parents put their life savings into coaching fees. I'm privileged enough to have parents that can afford to let me take a drop year, but not everyone is that privileged. There are parents who literally depend on daily wages to get by in their life, having the hope that their child will get farther in life. All those hopes are drowned because of the greed of these people in power. I'm writing this announcement to spread awareness about the situation. The situation that mainstream media is failing to report truthfully to the citizens of this country that do not have access to social media. Remember: There will be a time when we youth will be the ones to vote. We will not stop until we get the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan. Those participating in the protest when we students are unable to for any reason, I express gratitude to all of you for standing up for what's right. Please stay safe, you have our support. @MattLektra Just got the news that some unidentified individuals with masks have entered the protest site with sticks. They threw bottles and pelted stones at the police. Apparently, the Delhi Police security checking was not done, people were allowed to enter without the bag checkings. They tried to break barricades and attacked RAF. These unruly elements might try to discolour this protest and make it violent. It has been reported that it happened yesterday at 8:30 PM.

@MattLektra To my knowledge, I haven't seen news about this becoming a political agenda, nor about buses being turned over or people wielding swords (unless you mean Nihang Sikhs, who carry them for religious reasons and haven't used them, though I could be wrong). Even if true, standard protocol for a lathi charge requires minimum force, a prior warning, and striking only soft body parts. As mentioned in my main post, the last rule was clearly broken. Multiple sources report police using lathis without warning on peaceful protesters, even trapping invited protesters in designated areas and pelting them without provocation. Tear gas was also used on peaceful crowds. Furthermore, regulations require visible name badges on uniforms. Men in civilian clothes were seen wielding polycarbonate lathis. Some say police used excessive brute force first, while others claim these individuals instigated violence to discredit the movement. Regarding female protesters: male officers must maintain decorum and avoid physical contact unless it's a life-threatening emergency. That standard was not met. Recent footage shows a male officer slapping a female protester, female protesters having their kurtis torn during lathi charges by male police, and reports of physical abuse and sexual harassment (inappropriate touching). When some officers were questioned later, they remained silent. Also, protests aren't restricted to students. Anyone who cares about the education system and empathizes with students has the right to join. This is all accurate to the best of my knowledge, and I apologize if any detail proves incorrect. I have no further updates for now. Finally, when you say you have faith in your country, do you mean the country itself (its people) or the government?
