If you feel guilty about some of your acts -
I have been told many times by my family and friends I had - have - too much faith in people, some consider me dumb or just naive.
I’m not really a good person, I struggle to show up, to act to express my care, I just forgive and give chances again and again, VERY easily.
And I’m not saying you should do that too.
But know that, around five or six years ago, I was bullied - or I think I was ? I’m so bad at understanding this - by someone I thought was my friend, whether he’d hit or insult me.
And I contacted him again, and he changed, and we’re now best friends. He changed a lot, and became one of the first person to defend me and my identity, and to support me despite my disabilities, I’m so grateful to have him in my life.
And you might be forgiven too. (Think to apologise though? It’s really nice to apologise)
So no matter how you were in the past, no matter what you did, you deserve friends, you deserve to be happy. People will know if you change, and people you hurt might not forgive you, but it doesn’t mean you have to be lonely. Nothing dictates how you will be your whole life.
Change is possible, redemptions is possible.
