Hey, guys! My name is Emma. I am a normal sophomore girl (maybe) from a town in the middle of nowhere in Illinois. I've been playing flute for six years, and may or may not love the performing arts a little too much. 

My likes include: Listening to and playing music, reading, art (when I can find the inspiration), and writing.
My dislikes include: People who think that band kids are geeks (what's wrong with playing an instrument?) and people who think they're better than everybody else (this includes bullies and people who think band kids are geeks) 
My goals include: Getting into ILMEA for my district next year, learning the trumpet, and joining either Phantom Regiment or Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps!

Book series that I have read (and liked) include: Percy Jackson/ Heroes of Olympus, Kane Chronicles, Warriors, Harry Potter, Tolkien (LOTR, Hobbit, etc.), Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, Mortal Instruments/ Infernal Devices, and The Fault in Our Stars, among others
