Hello! I’m glad you liked my story! I’ll definitely check out yours. I just put it on my reading list.
            
            I’m actually not planning to write the sequel quite yet. I’m going to write a prequel first, which will show how Amy and Shadow got to the point in the capture. It will be more of a friendship/initial crush type story. I also want to finish Mobian Apocalyptica first, my zombie shadamy story.

Thank you for the new year wishes! I’ve been working overtime since the holidays, so I’m behind on updating anything, but I’m hoping to be available to post this weekend!

Ah okay! I actually have the next chapter of Mobian Apocalyptica ready, just need time to look it over and post. I can do that in the morning. The Promise has some rough drafts for the first few chapters, but I’ve been a bit too busy to take the time to edit it. Plus, I’m really into Mobian Apocalyptica right now and I wanna write all my ideas out and post before the ideas aren’t as fresh.
            
            I look into getting the first chapter out of The Promise in the next week or two though!

            Yes, there will be a sequel to this story, but it won’t be written for a while. One of my next projects is actually a prequel to The Story of Amy Rose: The Capture. This will highlight all of the events that led up to the beginning of the capture, detailing Shadow’s and Amy’s developing relationship and their adventures with the team under one household.

            Thanks for reaching out. I’ve got the whole last chapter written, but it’s sitting on my desktop behind several pages of other important adult tasks that take priority at the moment.
            
            I’m in a weird transitional period right now where I’m applying to jobs, applying to graduate school for the fall semester, and I’m moving all at the same time. So I’m a bit bogged down, all while working 60 hours a week unfortunately. 
            
            As for the last chapter, I think I can get it edited later tonight. I’d have to pull an all-nighter and get no sleep for my second job, but I think I can pull it off for you lovely readers! The reason it’s taking so long is because the last chapter is 15k+ words, which is a lot of editing for this particular story. Not to mention I tend to add more when I go back and edit 
            
            I apologize for the delay. It’s hard to find time with my tight schedule right now. I tend to work, eat, and fall asleep before I get the chance to touch my keyboard.
            
            After my shift today, I’ll grab a redbull, roll my back out, and hop to it! I want this story finished too, because I already have the first few chapters of some other shadamy stories written and I won’t let myself share them until I complete this one. Wish me luck!
