Hello to my sisters and starlings!! Ever feel overwhelmed and unsure about where to go or who to turn to for help? Do you sometimes keep things in because you’re scared you’ll be judged or criticized? Asking for help is daunting, especially when you’re a teen. I know I absolutely suffered with the anxiety of being an emotional burden on those I love, which often led to me trying to work through my problems and fears alone – believing that I didn’t deserve to take up space. But I’ve learned the importance of reaching out and as a result, I am so proud to be partnered with Kids Help Phone as they prepare to launch an incredible program: RISE UP. A service for Black youth across Canada, providing them with wellness support and mental health resources. RiseUp is a national, 24/7, bilingual e-mental health support service for Black youth. The service is free and available from coast to coast to coast. It’s a program built in collaboration with Black community partners, Kids Help Phone’s Black Advisory Council, BlackNorth Initiative and people from across the Afro-diaspora of many different ages, genders and backgrounds, and will be set to launch during World Mental Health Day. In collaboration with this incredible initiative, I’ve been commissioned to write a one-short short story: THE WEIGHT OF A HEARTBEAT: https://www.wattpad.com/1482365260-the-weight-of-a-heartbeat-riseup-collaboration For anyone struggling with mental health or, like Allix, feeling utterly overwhelmed with life and responsibilities—please know that you are safe and worthy and I hope you also reach out to these incredible resources and get the help you need. Thank you all for being part of my journey here on this platform and I can't wait to hear what you think of Allix!

hello!!! may i promote my story here?? Thank you ^-^ Lisa is a mystery that refuses to be unraveled-cold, guarded, and always walking with her head held high despite the crushing weight of life. In the darkness of her past, she found strength, but in the present, she fights simply to endure. She lives on the edge-frozen in the scars of yesterday, burning with the quiet embers of vengeance. Fate brings her to the Kim sisters: the headstrong Jennie, the radiant Rosé, and the protective Jisoo. When old wounds meet newfound love, when buried secrets clash with unyielding resolve, they will all be forced to choose: face destiny or be consumed by its shadow. Aeternum means eternity. But who will survive to claim it? https://www.wattpad.com/story/389556975-aeternum-eternity-english-version

Hello to all my Sisters and Starlings!! I know it has been ages, but I am thrilled to be back with a brand story that is going to hit you in the feels. In collaboration with KIDS HELP PHONE, to raise awareness for their Rise Up program, I’ve written a short story about Allix Nelson, a young Black girl overcoming the stress of life, expectations and—something many of us all know too well—heartbreak. RiseUp is a service for Black youth across Canada, providing them with wellness support and mental health resources. In collaboration with this incredible initiative, I’ve been commissioned to write a one-short short story: THE WEIGHT OF A HEARTBEAT: 18-year-old Allix Nelson—eldest of four siblings and proverbial golden child—has finally hit rock bottom. After finding out her boyfriend cheated on her, she is utterly heartbroken, but with a full ride scholarship on the line Allix can’t afford to blow this final exam. Heart heavy with grief, and the overwhelming burden of so much riding on her shoulders, she’s overworked and overwhelmed with no one she feels she can safely open up to. That is until she hears about Kids Help Phone’s RISE UP campaign, compelling her to do the unthinkable: reach out to a stranger for help. Thank you all for being part of my journey here on this platform and I can't wait to hear what you think of Allix! https://www.wattpad.com/1482365260-the-weight-of-a-heartbeat-riseup-collaboration

How did you get your story to become so out there? Can you please give some tips to a new writer!

Now that STILETTO SISTERHOOD has been out and published in the world for little over six months now, I'm curious to know who has read it and what do you think of the changes made to the published version??? *insert googly eyes* Also - what would you like to see next from me?

FallonDeMornay
@ntlpurpolia That's up to Wattpad/ W Books to decide, but given it's been 2 years now without any follow up from them, I don't think the series will continue. :"(

Hey Wattpaders! Y’all showed up with the Spooky theme for this month’s READ/REVIEW/SHARE contest. And though it was so hard to choose, THE WINNERS ARE HERE!!!! ✨DRUMROLL PLEASE✨ @DistantDreamer - Monica’s pick: Bright Eyes by @_Lazarein The writing was fantastic and the descriptions were amazing. I totally felt transported to the scene! @RebeccaSky - Rebecca’s pick: The Maggies by @NyhteridesThis writing is Hauntingly beautiful, achingly sad, broken and dark. I reread so many lines because of how stunning they were. 10/10 for spooky vibes. @Ms_Horrendous - Jakayla’s pick Out of the entries, I pick @shyy_girl story Lullaby because the plot drew me in, but also even though it’s new, it was the mysterious twist that made me curious for more. It’s also heading in a different direction from what I’m used to. Love the creativity put into it and looking forward to more! @FallonDeMornay ‘s pick: Of all the entries I received, I'm voting for @Nyhterides Rosalind. It's a gloriously dark Beauty and the Beast retelling set in Transylvania with a wonderfully lush and ethereal writing that comes to life on the page. Honorable mention pick goes to @TAJoseph and their story Autumn's Fabled Prince which had the best opening line we read this contest! Thanks everyone for entering, be sure to check out each others entries and cheer each other on, because we all know how hard writing can be and a comment and vote goes a long way!
