Hey im writing a book that im really excited about and I was wondering what makes a good description without spoiling to much If you have any tips that would be great.

I would say introduce the characters and a bit of the plot. For example:
"Meet Abby, a regular schoolgirl who (some of her/his traits/social status). When she meets a peculiar boy, will she (do something) or (do something)?"
Probably a bit more detailed than that, but y'know, I tried
