For those of you who take the time to read my book of poems, thank you. Although a lot of my poems aren't always based off of personal experiences, those of you who know me know that I try to emphasize the meaning of a certain topic into them. I like to explain a certain issue that happens all over the world pretty much everyday, my poems are there to create it in a different technique. And that's poetry I want people to read my poems and instantly feel even if not aimed at them a connection and create the said emotion which will reach their heart.
I haven't uploaded it for a while now and I'm sorry, something recently changed me for better or for worse but either way I haven't been able to be my usual self without crying. My new is the poem that I will upload is about a certain pet that I knew my entire school life, and its really hard continuing on at my final year in high school without him by my side.
I wrote this poem sometime in June and it'll be my first time aiming a poem particularly about my personal experiences. But to whoever reads it and has lost a pet of their own I hope this poem will emphasize the same response you might've had.
