Thank YOU for writing it! I love it and I feel the same way as you about Emma. Some of her actions annoy me like cheating on John, but at the same time I empathize with her. Like you said; it's a love/hate relationship, which you can only have with real people which she feels like. Your a really talented writer and I hope you carry on writing!
