I don't even know what to say. I never thought this would happen to Vegas. I'm stunned, to say the least. I'm stunned and very, very scared. I know people who work on the strip and my dad was just down there earlier working a hockey game.
I feel sick knowing that this was no ordinary crazy person with a handgun situation. No, this was a well thought out, well planned attack with multiple people involved and so many hurt and killed. This is going to change the future of my city. People aren't going to feel secure like they used to, and that's exactly what they wanted to have happen. (Excuse any language) Those f*cking jerks wanted to turn my city into a war zone and they did a damn good job of it. This was one of the last places people actually felt safe in and now the safe feeling is f*cking gone, thanks to them. I'm scared and damn angry at the shooters and can't wait until they're gone and out of my city. I'm not even on the strip and this is already absolutely terrifying for me. I can hear the sirens from police cars and ambulances as they rush across town to help. Most of us here won't get any sleep tonight and we all hate this. We hate them for terrifying us and taking our loved ones away.
Please, please, pray for us here in Vegas, terrorism is a very frightening and a very real thing.
