The Wattpad social feed
This feature broadcasts all of a users activity to their followers. In my opinion, It violates privacy in a way. A friend in real life follows me and while looking for something else we stumbled upon their feed. I was horrified when I saw past comments and votes on there but thankfully they don’t check the app too often. I initially thought it was just for announcements.
I want to let anybody who sees this know about the social feed. It’s like your search history that is shared without your permission, you can’t really choose what your followers see.
Some things you can do to maintain your privacy is:
1. Only add books to your library, it won’t trigger the social feed
2. Don’t vote or comment, that’s what others can see
I know that many of you guys might not really care about what others see or already know about this but to the people who are unaware and prefer to stay private, I really hope this helps a lot.
