Hey, everyone. I hope you are doing great.
Question for you: Have you moved from place to place often or lived in your homeplace all your life?
I'm more of a mover. We moved almost each year, only coming back to our actual home in some summer vacations. Back then I used to be pretty excited about it. On to the next place! I guess it's _because_ we didn't settle down anywhere or collect stuff over years that, despite all my memories, I never got very attached to any of the houses. I still love remembering them though, and then get sad. :(
Now, I've been living in the aforementioned home for half a decade. (it's five years exactly today). And we're moving tomorrow. It feels so horrible, I don't think I've been this sad during any of our shifts. It's weird to see our furniture moved, tables and shelves cleared of stuff, most of our things stuffed into one room or our bags (we had to clear the house as we're giving it on rent). Since I'm more sentimental than the average person, I feel even sadder...
So, for people who have been living in one place for their whole life so far, extra question: how does it feel? To have the same walls around you since forever. How would it feel were you to leave?
