I updated SOA. And by updated I mean I put the new chapter one up.

I'm sorry to all of you. I'm honestly working on both of the stories, but right now I'm going through some family problems. My Great Grandma's kidneys have failed and her body is basically poisoning itself, so she's literally on her deathbed right now.

In all honesty I really can't focus on anything for more than about five minutes and am overly stressed right now, like can't eat, can't sleep, and feeling sick all the time, but I'm trying.

So no, SOA and PTG (Formally 'the Returning') aren't on hold or hiatus or something, I'm working on both right now I just wanted everyone to know why I've kind of been MIA for the past few weeks.

Thank you all and... Yeah... Thanks, you really don't know how much everything you guys do mean to me so, thank you.

This sentence has five words. Here are five more words. Five-word sentences are fine. But several together become monotonous. Listen to what is happening. The writing is getting boring. The sound of it drones. It’s like a stuck record. The ear demands some variety. Now listen. I vary the sentence length, and I create music. Music. The writing sings. It has a pleasant rhythm, a lilt, a harmony. I use short sentences. And I use sentences of medium length. And sometimes, when I am certain the reader is rested, I will engage him with a sentence of considerable length, a sentence that burns with energy and builds with all the impetus of a crescendo, the roll of the drums, the crash of the cymbals—sounds that say listen to this, it is important.
