Happy reminder that two of the seven science‑fiction participants of the Purple Fairy Awards have already unfollowed me again. Now, I know Wattpad has this ongoing bug that randomly unfollows people (I’ve had issues with it myself), but I find it very hard to believe that this bug just happens to strike RIGHT after the results were published.
So, to those two people: congratulations, you’ve managed to piss me off. But I’ll still do my best not to let it affect my judging when I look at the mini‑category you’re still entering… although I’m honestly tempted to start disqualifying people.
I’ve asked for so little as an entry fee for these awards, and I’m putting quite a bit of effort into them. Please just do me the courtesy of following my account, if only to show some basic respect to me (and, by extension, to all the other hosts who are also putting their time and energy into these awards).

@Fata_Viola That’s very disappointing. Do whatever you need to to be able to move forward. No one will blame you for sticking up for yourself. *hugs*

@Fata_Viola I can only imagine how frustrating it must be. If I ever disappear from your list, it will not be because I did it - I love your content!

@Fata_Viola I'm also sorry this is happening to you too, yes it can be annoying, and unfortunately, it's going to continue because people are going to be people. The algorithm allows it, sadly. But ya know, there's going to be some people who stick around after the contest is over, enjoying your works, posting on your wall, and tagging you on contests. Those are the genuine ones, your REAL friends, and honestly, just a handful of those good people more than make up for all the people who take off. Hope this helps, and thanks for running this wonderful contest. P.S. I followed you before you started the contest, and will still continue following long after it's over.
