Hi, Fatima, and thank you ever so much for voting for Risking All for Love .
If my story has a sense of reality, it's because I served as a Peace Corps teacher in the remote village of Bolahun, Liberia, at Holy Cross Mission.
There I was teacher to Elizabeth Sele Mulbah, who years later risked her life daily during the Liberian Civil War to give medical treatment to people in Lofa County.
My character Margaux Dubonnet cannot be a citizen of Liberia because neither of her parents was African.
So in the only country she ever knows she does not enjoy rights accorded citizens there.
I hope that you continue to enjoy the story.
It's nice to meet you.
