I'm sorry my reply came across as hurtful, that wasn't my intention.
          
          I think there was just a misunderstanding. When I saw "Follow" on my message board, it felt more like a command than a request. Since we didn't know each other, it caught me off guard, and I reacted without thinking.
          
          If your intention was simply to be friends, I appreciate you telling me that. It's just that the way the message was written didn't come across that way to me. A simple "Hi, I'd love to be friends" or "Would you like to follow each other?" would have felt much warmer.
          
          I don't want this to become an issue. I just wanted to explain why I reacted the way I did. I hope there's no hard feelings, and I wish you all the best.
