I am a 29year old detroit girl that's trying to survive and excape the hood but little do I know the hood will suck me right in. Running wild and away because I couldn't do what ever I wanted like being a kid and have fun I had to grow up very fast. My mother was in and out of the home and always going to school so me running away was an excape to make it out and live a normal life. Me running away just made me have an even harder life like street walking, selling drugs and dance only done only to servive. In the end i made it out by graduation school and I strived to succeed to be better because failure was not an option.
