Just turned 18 this month, I’m legal now. I don’t have to lie na sa internet LOL. I used to shock people whenever I tell them the truth, and they’d go around saying na I was too mature and wise for my age. There are times na binabasa ko old journals and mga advice ko here sa Wattpad, and damn, I can’t believe a 13 years old girl could mutter such words. Now at 18, I feel stupid and clueless. I don’t know what happened to me, I used to be wise and smart.. Now I crumble at such small things. But when I was young no one could budge me. 

A random long ass thought.
          
          As a midnight rain girl, every time I listen to that song, it reminds me of myself.. of how I will always choose my future over any guy. At all costs.
          
           AND it also takes me back to time where I've read stories like how the male lead had an ex-girlfriend who left the ml to pursue their career. Those ex-girlfriends ended up coming back and asking for the male lead's forgiveness. But it was all too late because the male lead already fell in love with the female lead. AND I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED: STARTING AT THE AGE OF 11.. WHY? why do they need to break up when they could just make it work? why would the ex still choose their career even though their bf is rich?
          
          When I turned 14, I realized that those cliche stories were bullshit. People hate midnight rain girls but don't realize the importance of being independent. Work. Work so damn hard so that if you're put in a situation you don't like, you can just leave and live your own life. Work. So when your fucking man ends up cheating on you, you're still you and not left alone with nothing..
          
          Love can wait, your future is only a one time chance and it all depends on you. Love could hurt, but money and the brain could get you anywhere in life. If the love of your life fell out of love and found someone who could put up with their traditional bullshit, let them. Says a lot about how love won't get you anywhere.
          
          If you have to burn it, burn it. It's for you to grow, you need to cut it. Even if it hurts you.

I hate it when I waste a lot of money in Wattpad to unlock a whole story JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THERE'S A CHEATING PLOT

May B+ ako sa Isang subject, I guess I got too distracted sa app na 'to, I'm literally sobbing right now and I freaking had a mental break down in the middle of the class. I'll delete this app muna. I don't deserve to have peace of mind and to have a free time to read. I'll be back once makabawi. I can't take that B+ shit. 

I just realized that I've read millions of books already, hindi lang dito sa Wattpad. pero I still get the kilig over such cringey scenarios sa fictional books. Which is a good sign for me. 
          
          Just organized my reading lists here, but don't trust my ratings at all — give those stories a try.  My standards are way too high para mag rate ng 10/10 sa mga libro ngayon, wala na yatang plot nakaka gulat sa akin. I've explored a lot of books, genres, and authors. 
          Learned a lot of lessons from them, they enhanced my whole being, which I'm very thankful for. 
          
          Things I noticed from Tagalog stories/Communities nowadays are: Mga description ng appearance ng mga characters that are not filipino type of features at all, takot na takot I embrace ang sariling atin? (wow I'm so makabayan.), common ways of writing, (which is fineee, I like it) common plots, common type ng male leads, common hate sa mga babaeng antagonist tapos hype na hype sa mga lalaki. Then kapag nag cheat yung male lead, sila pa rin nung female lead endgame. and people still have the guts to ask for the guys' reasons.

I HATE WATTPADIANS NA LAGING CINOCONNECT FAVORITE CHARACTERS NILA SA MGA TOTOONG TAO, like sa mga areums ba yun? and jsls. lagi ko silang nakikita sa mga comment section ng mga taong may konting similarity sa favorite characters nila sa Wattpad. Tapos sasabihin anong masama? naiirita na mga portrayers niyo kuno kaka compare sa fictional characters niyo na kailan man di magkakatotoo, pipilit niyo pa din sarili niyo na "ackkk hiro vibes" etc.
