Random fun fact: in-universe, the reason why demons are referred to by their titles is because people used to think that saying their real names would summon them (which is kinda true, as shown with Sun), so they created their titles as substitutes. Out-of-universe, they have titles because it's fun for me to make them :)

Just because I like writing stuff for the sake of it, here's some straight-forward explanations of Sun's current relationships with the Mane Five. 
          
          *Applejack: Sun sees her as a big sister and a confidant. The closeness she has with her has led to Sun developing feelings for her which she doesn't want to express simply because she just likes the feeling of being in love with someone, and doesn't feel the need to admit it.
          
          *Fluttershy: She treats Sun with a bit more carefulness than others, since she knows how Sun feels about her. The two still like to talk, and Sun still thinks of her as her best friend, but Sun still has some lingering feelings for her.
          
          *Pinkie: Sun thinks she's obnoxious, but she admires her energy. In a casual setting, they tend to speak to each other exclusively with jokes, which is indicative of the two's relationship, being like two friends at school.
          
          *Rainbow: She doesn't truly hate Sun, but she may claim to whenever she gets mad at her for doing something awful. Sun is extra careful not to do things that Rainbow thinks makes her annoying, but Rainbow doesn't even realize that she makes that effort. On Sun's end, she thinks that Rainbow is pretty cool.
          
          *Rarity: She doesn't like hearing "Sun" and "fashion" in the same sentence. She's impressed but a bit jealous of how quickly Sun managed to get a job as the primary fashion designer of a famous model. However, that doesn't stop Rarity from helping Sun make her designs. Sun used to think Rarity was a bit annoying, but that faded away quite quickly.

I may make a sort of sequel to the Sanctum Compendium because I kid you not, I've drawn over 75 angels now. One of them is a black hole that also serves as a mobile angel-producing factory which is named after an angel of the abyss who has a southern accent. Why do I think of these things.

Chapter 60: Ragnarok will be an... odd chapter. It might not even be named Ragnarok, but that would be ignoring the naming scheme I've set up! The horror! Anyways... When Fantaga finally gets her weird siren hands on the Sahasrara, she attains the highest power she could possess. Our heroines are too deep in to get help, and things are getting worse by the second. And with Aello captured and Sun under Fantaga's control, it might take an (un)expected character returning to give our heroines the strength to fight back against the end of the world. 
          
          Also, thanks to a friend, I realized that this chapter's plot is weirdly similar to the story of Gilgamesh (the king, not the mythological one). You'll see how.

Chapter 50, "Blood & Darkness" will be the greatest battle Sun has faced yet. Death Drive returns once more, and she's going to kill Sun this time. She truly lives up to her namesake, as their battle causes nothing but destruction as it rages across Equestria. Sun has to rely on her demons to even stand a chance, but even when she plays her full hand, will it still be enough when Death Drive summons her own demons?
          
          Their blooming friendship is not only stunted, but it regresses right back to hatred. But this time, it's mutual, and it transforms into a mutual murderous rage. 
          
          Weird trailer talk aside, "Chapter 50: Blood & Darkness" was one of my favorites to write when I first wrote Sun's story, so... be excited! :D
          There's action, more action, arcs finally being completed, even more action, and Sun questioning if she's truly the Element of Forgiveness if she can't forgive Death Drive... and action, too.

PSA for all 0 of you who care, my winter break is over, so I have to go back to school, and that means the speed at which I produce new chapters will slow down a little. The horror, I know. I'll still try to get them done, but it might just take a little longer to get more chapters than before. For God's sake, I spent one day of my break almost entirely working on chapters, and I ended up making three (maybe four if I remember correctly). If anything, I deserve a break. But I shalln't rest, for there is bad fanfiction to write!

So, the future of this series is gonna be... weird. I thought I'd give you guys some hints as to where the story is going, since it's quite bizarre, and because I really can't help myself. 
          * The next few chapters leading up to Chapter 40 will have psychological horror elements because I love them 
          *There's something about a monster named Anzu who has to do with Sun's past... I sure bet he's not important in any way! 
          *After Chapter 40, a canon (to the show) character will be introduced and live with Sun 
          *Chapter 50 is named "Blood & Darkness" as a reference to the theme of Jeanne and Bayonetta's final battle. Think of that what you will... 
          *Sun becomes a fully-fledged witch because why not
          *And finally, someone starts to fall in love with her... And it's the last person you'd expect.

And Chapter 30 is out! I was already quite proud of it, but now that I've rewritten it, I think I've actually managed to improve it by making it more emotional, and overall more focused on character moments. For example: Avalonia's defeat of Despoena (I'm being a little vague about it just in case you haven't read it yet), which wasn't in the original version at all. Also, fun fact: originally, Avalonia's Element of Harmony wasn't Magic, but Hope. I changed it because having Magic be the spark to awaken the other Elements fit in more with the show's lore.
          
          Anyways, for Sun, it's all downhill from here, and it's gonna be awesome! I can't wait for Chapter 40, because Sun is finally gonna find out who she is. Although, the truth isn't exactly gonna be what she expected...
