So, I have a bit of a major revision coming. See, for awhile now I've been struggling with how to resolve Asya and Aslan's story as we move towards the final act of the book. Then, today it suddenly hit me! I had a major plot hole. How did Aslan know that Asya's Mirror was gone? It's a secret she's kept for awhile now, so there's no reason he would start searching for her Mirror. This removed part of the obstacle I was having in resolving their storyline, but it also means I have to go back and write the plot-hole out.
          
          So, this means amending a line in Chapter 26 from Keon about Asya's Mirror, the scene at the end of the chapter and a sentence in Chapter 29 that referenced Aslan. To be honest, I haven't been 100% comfortable with the ending of Chapter 26 so I'm glad to have a reason to change it and now feel like I have a proper resolution to their arc. But this also means I have to write in a new subplot. SO, it's looking like that will be the subject of Chapter 31. 
          
          In the mean time, I'll have to go back and make those edits to the previous chapters. So, for those who are up to date, just pretend the ending of Chapter 26 never happened XD. It was all a dream!

A day later than I intended, but the latest chapter of Underland and the Forehidden Kingdom is out now! If you haven't jumped onboard, now's as good a time as any to NOT read this latest chapter but go back to the first one :D

Just ahead of launching Chapter 26 of Underland (coming later today), I've gone through and added a multitude of edits to...well...everything XD. Most minor, cutting a few hundreds words here and there, tightening things up, correcting some typos. A few more major edits, one being the removal of the whole mask subplot from Chapter 10, another renaming a couple of chapters and finally the removal of a plot point about Keon's dad which I may save for a sequel. It doesn't have a major effect on the plot so it didn't really need to be there. Oh, also dropped some dialogue from Chapter 25 as I realised I was repeating it in Chapter 26 and it works a lot better in Chapter 26 XD. Not expecting everyone to go back and re-read from Chapter 1, BUT you could! For those just jumping on...well it's a great jumping on point as you're reading the most up to date version of the story.
