          My best advice for if you want to read that chapter with the full experience, please go read the 28th chapter in the standard edition where I will be placing the Definitive Edition version's illustrations. Since it is such an important chapter I believe I can make a pass on it. I am also deeply upset because it's one of the most important ones, but if you'll have patience with me, and check it out where you can see it, that would be much appreciated.

          The image in question is of Yuno Kosuka's final moments before her tragic death. I know that many would think that it is quite a gruesome scene but it is not gratuitously violent just for the sake of shock value. It is violent because it is tragic, and it is deeply integral to the story. I'm choosing not to appeal again this time because I fear going through the same process just to get rejected again would not be worth the stress it would cause me. I want to dedicate myself fully to you and fully to this series, so it is my hope and heartfelt wish that you will stay with me through this difficult time, and stay with this series as I give it my whole heart and try to bring it to life all the way to the end. Thank you very much for reading this announcement if you did, and if you got this far, you have my heartfelt thanks. I am actually grieving this right now, but I will try to get chapter 33 out to you as soon as possible.

          I have spent the better part of 7 months all carefully creating and curating the series for all of you, and to see it disrespected in a way is something that I feel spits in the face of me and all my hard effort. I am very disappointed in Wattpad for what they've done, and after spending an entire month dealing with horrible wait times, bad creator service, and constantly having to resubmit appeals, I not only get rejected, but all that hard work earned me nothing in result? I am beyond devastated. Words alone cannot express my deep sorrow for what has happened.

          I tried to appeal this but all of the times I tried to appeal, the Wattpad site would not let me submit an appeal. No matter how many times I tried, it said that there was an error. So then I sent a support ticket to them instead, telling them about the issue and hoping they would resolve it. Instead, they sent me an email saying that if I wanted to appeal, that I could in 24 hours and that they didn't have the appeal service up at the time. Clearly this is terrible for creators, and puts a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to creators. How are we supposed to trust the place we put our content when we cannot be assured that it's safe?
          
          I checked the community guidelines and I am certain that my image didn't violate them. But today I got a message saying that my appeal had been reviewed, and then promptly rejected. I was told that my image violated the community guidelines and that it was too violent in nature. To make things clear I put a warning at the beginning of my books saying that they are not for kids, they are for audiences 18 and up, and that there is mature content not for the faint of heart or stomach. There is a content warning for a reason, it is not just there for shits and giggles.
          
          Let me be clear, I'm not trying to be hostile with my community or my readers. I am trying to send a message here. Wattpad has done wrong by me before, this is not the first time. I can't even explain about the first time because I fear getting my account removed.

Image removal announcement part 1:
          
          I just wanted to make an announcement about something that I found deeply saddening recently. After taking a much-needed break that came only after 6 and a half months of nonstop work on this series, and even doing storyboard work for later Volumes 33-40, I came back and knocked out 
          Chapter 33: Devil {Hero} in Awaken - Volume 3: Origin, as far as the Definitive Edition curation process goes. Then I checked my notifications and noticed I had gotten a message from Wattpad themselves.
          
          Now for context, I want to clear some things up. About a month ago Wattpad delisted one of my illustrations. What this means is that they did not forcefully take it down, but instead they flagged it, and made it so that I could see it, but nobody else could. This is a massive problem because I work hard on my illustrations. The amount of prep work, character models, descriptions, time that I spend putting them together, and regeneration attempts to preserve canon and continuity is a big part of how I create images. As an indie author this is a massive problem obviously. 
          
          But the thing I want to stress about it is that the image was actually used multiple times in different locations, but was only flagged in Awaken - Amnesia Saga - Definitive Edition. I am talking of course about one of the illustrations in Chapter 28: Truth {Calamity}. This isn't just a small problem, this is massive to me. The image is used in three other places but has not been flagged at all. It is in the Artbook chapter 4 of the very same entry. The image is also used in the standard edition of Awaken - Volume III: Origin, in both the same Calamity chapter, AND the Volume III Artbook. It was only flagged in the Amnesia Saga's Definitive Edition omnibus version of the Calamity chapter, and now readers can't even see that image. It is devastating to me because it is such an important illustration.

          Awaken - Part 1: Amnesia Saga - The Definitive Edition officially reaches halfway complete.
          
          This last month has been insane for productivity. Also, today is my birthday, so this is a fun gift to be able to look back and say we made it pretty far.
          
          Arcs 1-3 (Awakening, Rookies Recruitment, and Thug Dome) are fully completed and sealed along with Volumes 1 & 2, and I couldn't be happier to return to one of my favorite Arcs in the series.
          
          We only have twenty-two more chapters until we reach the end. After that, get ready for Hope Saga's official remaster!!! We're SO back!

Just a quick little reminder. 
          
          Part 3: Reset Saga is officially completed. It's not remastered, nor is it in Definitive Edition format. It is raw, but it is complete. That means there are up to 12 volumes freely available to binge.

          Awaken - Part 1: Amnesia Saga - Definitive Edition, is currently releasing, and is 1/3 complete.
          
          Following its conclusion, I will be working on the Part 2: Hope Saga's Remaster process. You'll be able to experience each of the following in fully revised and extrapolated format, complete with illustrations from these beloved arcs.

          Arc 8: Sheinen Training
          Arc 9: Anima
          
          After that, I will be reviewing Reset Saga, and taking notes for its future Remaster as well.
          
          Additionally, this is the part that I was most excited to announce. 
          
          After that, I will be working on the final Saga of ACT 1: The Rise, which includes Volumes 13 - 16 and will conclude 1/3 of the entire series. Counterstrike Saga will finally start releasing. And following its conclusion, I will instead, NOT, be immediately returning to Part 2 for its own Definitive Edition. Instead, I'll be releasing Part 5: Salvation Saga, which will cover all of Volumes' 17 - 20, and chapters 161 to 200.

This is part two of my announcement. 
          
          There are officially 12 sagas that are planned for the final complete project. Each Saga has a total of four volumes, or 40 mainline chapters. The plan is to end the series after chapter 480 in volume 48, and then top it all off with the epilogue of that volume.
          
          The entire Series has already been planned and I already have every single Arc imagined. There are a total of 33 arcs, and we are currently in Arc 11.

          My plans for the series are actually full and complete. Some elements may change as I write them, but this is a long form series that is here to stick. I just want to make my intentions clear publicly. This series is going to be a long form epic rather than a weekly serialized thing. Also I publish whenever I feel like it, but I assure you I work as hard as possible and as frequently as possible. I want to get the story out to the world so that everybody can experience it.

So as the creator of AWAKEN, I wanted to make my full intentions for the series a thing that everybody knows. I am officially posting it here cuz I realized I've never said it. 
          
          The series is planned for a total of 48 volumes. Yes I said 48. Each four volumes is one Saga. As for how the series is structured, I cannot exactly tell you all the details. For example: I cannot tell you the name of Saga 9 to 12. But I will give you a teaser for what's in store.

          The reason I have marked things under "???" Is because I know exactly what they are, but telling you now would be a massive spoiler. I'll let you figure that out when you get to it. Regardless this will help you see my plans. 

Now that I'm Officially working on Part 3: The Reset Saga (Volumes 9-12) the series has reached a truly staggering amount of content. I wanted to make an announcement that volumes 1 through 4, The Amnesia Saga, will be receiving what's called the final Master upon the completion of volume 12's raw edition.
          
          It will be the first in a series of 12 novels called the Definitive Editions, each one is labeled by numbered part and has numbered chapters instead of numbered with roman numerals. Any Final Mastered Definitive Edition volumes will contain the original remaster's 60 illustrations, as well as an additional bonus of 60 more for a total of 120 illustrations throughout 40 chapters. You will only be able to see the bonus illustrations in the definitive edition. I hope you look forward to rediscovering volumes 1 through 4 in full and final form!!!
