What's the time period?
          
          And well, revolvers can be a good choice, and honestly, most cheap / small weapons with very low power. They shoot really small bullets most of the time, and often feel like shooting more like a pellet gun than anything else.
          
          When you initially pull the trigger, what you will obviously feel is  vertical force. The vertical force obviously the explosion of the explosive powder in a bullet casing. This happens when well, you know, every action has opposite reaction. The horizontal force of a bullet going down the barrel gets blasted into the case, and the gases blowing out the barrel, plus slamming into the handle causes your gun to flinch upwards. 
          
          The shock when you fire, it honestly feels like someone just grabbing your hand and yanking it upwards, and will especially be felt with someone who doesn't know the proper mindset in shooting. You will then feel the shock reverberate through your body, and it feels slightly like a shove directly back.
          
          It also, will cause your body to slightly shift back, especially if you're not standing properly and engaging. 
          
          Pistols are slightly different. Because the top part slides back, "The slide", you have this basically weight that slides above your hand,  causing you to bend just slightly bit more.
          
          I honestly recommend just watching pistol shooting videos. Tons of great resources.

Hi there,
          I stumbled upon your guide to weapons, and then you profile - quite interesting if I must say ^^.  Im sure I'll have lots of intricate questions later, but it's nice to know there's other romance-hating tech and military freaks around.  
          You might enjoy watching one of my favorite animes - Attack on Titan.  It really highlights the essence of war.  Also Iron Forged is a good war book here on Wattpad, but I wont spam any further.

Hey everyone.
          
          For all my followers, thanks for still following. A lot of things have come up recently, though it does not deter me from working at all. I will be slowly writing, but of course, college and military life does pile on.
          
          At the moment I'm going to steer in a slight direction for a few weeks on genre since above all, I am a writer, and hey, never be afraid to jump into the unknown, and do your best. We all gotta take risks, and for me, I think I'll take a calculate risk and see what happens. Thanks everyone for the support so far, and for some who aren't active or bogged down, every follow has meant a lot to me.

I don't understand it unfortunately. 
            
            I'm doubtful Wattpad will make a Milfiction Genre. but do remember this, books can only go so close to the real thing, and honestly, I prefer reading WEB Griffin over Clancy at times. 
            
            And for me, I don't write military fiction for the excitement, I enjoy a more somber tone.
            
            Also, I looked through your profile, and I do have to say, Don't hate on Islam if you haven't gone in depth with Islamic faith. 
            
            I have a great deal of respect for the islamic people. because they have such a strong belief in their faith, being devout, and having a great deal of memorization and commitment to ceremonies.

            We are not fighting a war against Islamic people. We're fighting a war against a radical group of people who are manipulating religion and what is told, and bending them and deceiving people to fighting a political agenda for their own goals, tricked as if they are fighting a holy war. It's like telling people we're fighting for God, when really, it's a lie to make them motivated enough while secretly using it to gain political power. 
            
            I know you feel like it's sensitive or maybe "nonsense", but this is a serious thing. 
            
            Being in the military officer program in my college, we understand the context, and it's sensitivity. We remember, this is not a holy war, this is a war against extremists who have twisted a religion for their purposes, and maybe even lie to themselves. We heavily study ideology. 
            
            That is my defense.
