I hope this isn't intrusive, but how do you make your books such tear-jerkers? (Sob books basically) It's such a simple question but its it's very important to me.

@WhoWhatWhereWhyWhen Hi! OMG I'm sorry I'm answering so late, I'm not really active on this account anymore... T^T First of all, thank you so much for the compliment, I'm glad my stories can be so impactful! As for how I do it... I don't know if I can give you a satisfactory answer, but what I try to do is to linger a lot on the emotions the characters feel (often, adding physical clues as well) to show how deeply what happens to them affects them. I hope this will help the reader empathize with them, thus making the story more impactful. Mind, this isn't necessarily all good as it can also make a story feel slow-paced and repetitive. Some readers have complained about it in the past, and that's a valid take too! I think it depends a lot on personal preferences. I hope this helped a bit! And once again, I'm really sorry for only seeing this late...
