recent chapter had some reworking done, with new scenes & slightly alter scenes. others have been moved around to the next chapter c:

just had a break through last night through today – been struggling to write L3 because of a chapter much more near and dear to me than some others… it’s not a happy chapter, but neither was the time in my life that inspired it. but there was much i learned in that, and i wanted to…try and explore that in my writing. i haven’t really had the chance or courage to do so before, and the only way I really could figure out how to get through the nitty gritty was from an outside perspective. i hate this chapter with every fiber of my being lol but.. i think it’ll help me rewrite some earlier stuff & later stuff, & be a bigger reason for some character growth for Bruno.
          hopefully it’ll make sense when it gets re-published.
          + hopefully from here, things will start rolling out again. :”)

It took a whole year and two months but, DMLT has been given a facelift. Major revisions, new scenes, a new cover and a new title - the whole shebang !
          I may still need to go thru and do little edits with grammar & overuse of the same words, but otherwise: DMLT is now named “The Fighter and the Lover: Don’t Mess with Loco Tex”
          I didn’t want to completely change it, but I thought a simpler title would be more nice and catchy. I’ll likely be doing similarly with part 2 (im considering revising it again) and follow suit with part 3, but i’ll probably be bouncing back and forth between them so that i can get to a better publishing point for the third installment.
          but i do feel happier with where i have the story now, it feels more cohesive and better overall. :)
          
          also, if anyone happens to read this, are there any suggestions on some wattpad alternatives? i’ve been nervous about what i’ve seen with webtoon recently between them and authors, and i remember a friend had forwarded a message about moving stories off of this platform when their company had bought out wattpad? if i remember correctly – but i figured i would ask so i can see about sharing these stories to another place.

Loca Update:
          
          currently revising & editing As I Was !! it’s kinda helping remind me of everything which will help me in the end with part 3 tbh, & so far there is a lot of fixing that i noticed needed to be done anyway.
          
          some of the dialogue and phrasing was just weird, & i do remember being very like…stiff in my execution because i again kept getting held back by knowing what i wanted to happen but i was like 20 chapters ahead in my mind and unable to type that fast. anyway, point being:
          
          gonna be working on that, and hopefully that’ll help me figuring out more for part 3 !

          thank yall for the follows  unfortunately i haven’t been writing a lot lately, i need to crack down on some work & stuff but i will be trying to make some time to do more personal things as i can.
          
          *screams internally because i cant mULTITASK 10+ THINGS CREATIVELY ALL AT ONCE EVEN THO I DESPERATELY WANT TO*

Loca 3 Update
          
          10 chapters are for the most part full rough drafts now! I hate to make the wait longer, but I think I’ll be putting off any publishing until I get pretty much all of it roughed out so that all I’ll have to worry about mostly is revisions, some edits, and then actually publishing it regularly. I’ve been really enjoying writing the last two, so I feel I’ve covered a lot more ground with them within the past week.
          
          Plans may change for publishing, b u t I’mmm kinda excited about this one tbh. Nervous, but...we’re getting there lol
