@Filllucy8 uhm I would say you have to tell her at one point. I know it sucks to tell her the truth especially when you're unsure of how she'll react. But the thing is, if you don't tell her, you'll probably feel mentally worse than before because you're bottling those feelings to your best friend. Plus, imagine how she'd feel if you tell her about your feelings much later if we were to say she broke up with her boyfriend one day (which I'm not wishing btw I hope she's happy with him and stuff..) like I'm pretty sure she'd feel betrayed. What would you feel if after a long while of your BEST friend keeping distance from you, just to tell you that its theyve been forming a romantic interest on you??? It would feel like betrayal tbh-- but its most important to think about the future :(( you can't bottle those feelings for long and you'll feel trapped... I'm pretty sure she's your best friend for a reason,, and you know how everyone tells their best friend everything about themselves?? Yeaaah, you'll probably feel emotionally hurt keeping something as deep as this far away from her knowledge lol So yep I suggest you tell her when you feel ready or so, DM me if you ever need someone to talk to about this kinda stuff, I'm a little experienced on this lolol
