          Hey everyone! 
          
          I wanted to say that I wrapped up writing the next batch of chapters! But...I decided to switch things up this one time. 
          
          Since this is technically the start of Arc 2, I decided that I would only upload three chapters in this next batch of chapters as a way to kind of introduce this new arc. I didn't want to add unnecessary filler by including the two extra chapters, especially since I wanted to set the tone for the next arc right off the bat. I'm hoping by the next update, I'll be going back to doing five chapters a batch. 
          
          I hope y'all don't mind receiving only three instead of the usual five! =͟͟͞͞(꒪ᗜ꒪ ‧̣̥̇)
          
          Since I've reduced the number of chapters, expect this batch tomorrow night!

          New batch of chapters are officially live! This also concludes the end of the first Arc 1! 
          
          Honestly, I didn't think I would get to 50 chapters. If you would've told that to my 10 year old "A Yandere Ventriloquist" era self, I would've been GAGGED. 
          
          Also really love the doodle I made this time around, hehe. 
          
          Since Arc 1 is done, I'm hoping to post a separate conversation with Dahlia's updated bio,  to prep for Arc 2 at some point (maybe later today or tomorrow). 
          
          Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy these new chapters! The next batch will be the start of Arc 2.

          "Nothing Could Beat A Living Dummy!!!" has officially reached a year! I started working on this fic on June 25th, 2025.
          
          I would like to thank everyone who's read my fic! I started on this fic because I felt like there wasn't enough platonic and slice-of-life/silly Goosebumps fanfics. 
          
          I'm currently working on the next batch of chapters (aka the end of Act 1), so they'll be uploaded around the beginning of August like I have mentioned previously! I will continue to work hard so I can deliver. ♡

          Hello! Wanted to update y'all on the next batch of updates! 
          
          As I mentioned in my last conversation, I said that I wanted to join art fight this year, which I actually ended up doing! I did wrap up a week early, but it was still really fun and I'm glad I got to do it for the first time this year. 
          
          I ended art fight early because I'm planning on dedicating next week to working on the next batch of chapters (as well as art obligations), and hopefully by then I'll have them uploaded by the first days of August (at the latest). I'll make sure to update if things change around, but as of now, these are my current plans!

          I'm happy to say that as I'm writing this, I'm finally in the process on working on the next batch of chapters. Finally! 
          
          Thank you for everyone waiting patiently while I was busy + dealing with irl stuff! I actually took an extra week off, just so I could be 100% into writing these chapters (also the Villainous brainrot got to me these past few weeks). 
          
          I'm still going to try and take it easy, as I ease back into writing the next few chapters, so as soon as I'm done with this batch, I'll update once again!

          Hello! Happy May everyone! 
          
          Wanted to give a quick update in terms of the next batch of chapters. 
          
          Unfortunately, I'm still not done with art obligations at the speed that I had originally hoped for. Don't want to spill too much, but a lot has been going on in my personal life + still working on the art project I'm lending my time to. Because of this, I will be pushing the batch of chapters to next month. This will allow me to finish everything with the art project, and take a (more than necessary) rest before starting on them. 
          
          I wished I had the time to work on them this month, but from the looks of things, it'll not be the case. 
          
          Thank you for understanding, and hope to see y'all sometime in June!

          Like how I mentioned in my last conversation, I said that I would drop an important update. 
          
          Starting right at the end of next month, the fic will not be updated for about two months. I have a big art obligation that I need to attend to, and will most definitely take most of my time. Because of this, if everything goes according to plan, I'll release the next set of chapters sometime in May. 
          
          The only reason why I'm not going to work on chapters in the middle of next month, is because I haven't had the chance to fully take a break from other art obligations since December, and I want to take the first part of March off to do other creative things I've been wanting to do for my own enjoyment. 
          
          I know it's going to be a while, but this will also allow me to be even more motivated to continue creating stuff for "Nothing Could Beat A Living Dummy!!!"! 
          
          Hope y'all understand, and that you'll have a Happy Valentine's Day!

          This month's chapters have been posted! 
          
          February 14th is Dahlia's birthday! As a treat, there's a special drawing at the end of chapter forty. 
          
          I was thankfully able to finish the chapters just in time! I was a little worried since said drawing took me a whole week (and for what reason too-), which was longer than I had expected. But, I'm glad that everything's out now! 
          
          There is a big update that I want to mention as well, but I'll be leaving that for a separate conversation (otherwise, this one will be very long).

          Quickly hopping in to drop a little update from what I had said yesterday. 
          
          I had mentioned that I may or may not have some unconfirmed art obligations. I would say like an hour or two after dropping that conversation, I found out that I won't have any more art obligations. Which means I'll be able to focus on Dahlia's birthday drawing, as well as the batch of chapters fully! 
          
          I will say that I'm slightly behind on schedule when it comes to the speed of me working on the drawing, so everything may still come a day or two late. But, I'll be doing my best to get everything done before Dahlia's bday!
