          December's batch of chapters are now out! 
          
          I'm honestly really proud with how these came up, despite struggling with them along the way. I'm especially proud of how chapter thirty came out, as well as it being my longest chapter so far, reaching over 2000+ words. 
          
          This was also (for the most part) Slappy focused, which was fun to do too! I remember years ago when I used to roleplay as Slappy with friends, I felt like I was never satisfied with how I portrayed him back then (I was young back then, so it only made sense). But, I think this fanfic, and especially this recent batch of chapters have been helping me develop Slappy into my own style, while also trying to imagine how he would realistically act in these scenes. 
          
          Hopefully I'll be back in January with a new batch of chapters.
          
          Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy the newest chapters. Merry (early) Christmas and Happy (early) Holidays!

          The next batch of chapters are officially in the works! I wanted to start on them earlier this week, but I felt like it was still a bit too early, and with Thanksgiving happening as well, I decided to wait it out until now. 
          
          My goal for these next set of chapters is for Slappy to be the main focus! While Dahlia is the main girl, Slappy's also a main character that deserves the spotlight, and I feel like this was a good time to finally bring him into focus. Not that I necessarily neglect him, but these will (hopefully) be the first set of chapters in which the majority of it will be in his POV. 
          
          I'll update once again after December's batch has been uploaded!

          The next chapters are now up! 
          
          I said I would update when I would start on them, but I ended up just speeding through them, lmao. 
          
          These chapters are more of an interlude for the upcoming chapters in December, but I hope you still like them regardless.

          Happy 10th anniversary to the first Goosebumps movie! To celebrate, this month's batch of chapters have been released! 
          
          There's also a lil something at the end of the twentieth chapter, which is now available on my Etsy shop~

          I hope everyone was able to be patient while I had been working on this batch. Like I had mentioned previously in the last few posts, I've been working on art related projects, so I didn't have much time last month. But, things have slowed down enough to where I can focus on other things again- at least as of now. 
          
          Anyway, I hope you enjoy these chapters! I'll update when I plan to work on the next batch.

          So, after thinking about it for a day or two, I decided for the best course of action to start working on the chapters for October, which means that there will be NO CHAPTERS FOR SEPTEMBER! 
          
          I don't want to be rushing chapters in between art related projects, especially when this is suppose to be a fun thing on the side for me. It's one thing to struggle with ideas or scenes for a chapter, but it's another thing half-assing it. Nothing Can Beat a Living Dummy!!! is a fun project on the side, but I also want it to be how I envisioned it too. 
          
          Besides, this will also allow for the next batch of chapters to turn out fun! So, I'll update when October's batch is released!

          It's been a little bit since the last update, and I want to go ahead and drop something quick to catch y'all up to speed:
          
          So, I've been doing some art obligations (and still have some coming up), but, I currently have some time to start planning the batch for this month! 
          
          My only issue is that I don't have much of a plan on how I would go about writing these chapters, in terms of connecting the batch from August, and use the chapters for this month to transition to the upcoming October chapters. 
          
          My plan is to at least have something by Friday (which would be me officially starting writing them out), BUT, if I can't come up with anything as a transition for next month's batch, then I'll probably put my focus on said next batch instead, and just skip this month. 
          
          Regardless of what I decide to do, I'll let y'all know. I'm just happy to be writing again after a lot of drawing!

          The next batch of chapters for August have been posted! 
          
          I mentioned in the last post that I wanted to try and work on the set for September early, but from the looks of it, I probably won't have time to do it. I mistook a few upcoming dates, lmao. 
          
          Hopefully, I find the opportunity to work on them after my usual in-between break. But, for now, go read the recent chapters!

          I'm also going to try and work on some of the next chapters for September if I have time as well. There's a few art things that I'll be busy on, so I'll be working on those future chapters soon, and hopefully I'll have stuff to post on schedule!

          I finished the next set of five chapters + doodles a lot sooner than expected, which I suppose is a good thing for y'all- (though I think it's because I got really motivated after my break, lol).
