Hey, all! I'm Finding Out Why, but you can call me Finding. 

I'm a Super Mario nerd with a passion for writing. I first started concocting my own stories back in grade school and here I am, years later, writing Mario fanfiction. I've thought about writing my own YA novel, a batch of poems, I've even had family encourage me to try children's books. But the only thing I want to write are stories about Mario. 

I've been a Mario fan since the Gameboy Advance days. I started with Super Mario Advance and have been happily playing the adventures of our favorite Mushroom Kingdom hero ever since. There's so much to love about this franchise: the characters, the world, the music, the gameplay, the lore, so much to explore with a trusty pen and paper! 

All my story ideas revolve around the Super Mario franchise but I'm also a fan of games with darker elements, such as The Last of Us, Outlast, Dead by Daylight, and Resident Evil. As such, my writing can bring some more serious elements into the mix. While I love the lightheartedness of Mario, I also like taking a deeper look into the lives of our favorite Mushroom Kingdom pals.
