Fiona is a busy mum and language tutor. She lived in Germany for 9 years, translating for the Development Ministry, travelling the third world. She trained as an NCTJ journalist and has written 3 rom-com novels, yet to be published. The first of her work to appear on stage was The Ties That Bind at the Queen Mother Theatre, Hitchin, in 2010, directed by Jon Brown.

She has competed nationally in a synchronised ice-skating team, sings in a jazz trio and regularly neglects the housework, the allotment and her husband of 20+ years.
