Sorry I haven't been active lately. A lot of changes happened in just the last few months. I won't go into details since some of these are highly personal. I've decided that maybe I should write something else shorter to get myself back into the passion of writing, as I still have no idea how many more chapters The Trip That Turned Torrential is going to have. I may also end up rewriting a chunk of that story for reasons I'm not going to disclose other than I should readjust some things about it to make it easier to follow. But my next story should be a short one considering that it's going to take place over the course of just 3 days where little happens. That first story I had fully laid out in my head from start to finish, the one that's currently unfinished? Had a general idea, so that's why it is where it is right now. The story I'm telling you guys about writing? It's going to be a mini story from my favorite PAW Patrol fanfiction: Marshall Gone Missing. It will be the story of Jake and Everest over the course of the 3 days that Marshall recovers in the bed he is set in and everything that happens in between. Plan to start it during their time in the snowstorm and end with them hanging up the call to prepare for Ryder and the pups to be there (Along with the other characters that are in that scene)

Alright, guys I have good news and bad news. The good news is while I've been struggling to find the motivation to finish this story, it will be complete soon, I promise. The bad news is that once it is finished, I'm going on hiatus. I have to finish up my EMT class to get hired on a fire department in my area, so that class will siphon my time and energy, but once I get the cert and the job, I should be able to return. Alright guys, you deserve an update regarding what's going on. Lately, I've had family stuff going on and time to actually write has been more limited than I'd like to admit. I also seem to have underestimated how much work these last chapters would take, given how much plot and content they need in order to make it to the end on the current plan, so expect the remaining chapters to take anywhere from 5-10 days to complete, they'll be around the length of chapter 12, which is going to be published in the next 12 hours as of writing this. I have also finally gotten my new job, so while I'm finally employed again, it also means that there's less time to work on the story. So I'm going to get in what I can as often as I can, daily, if possible, but maybe every other day most likely. Thanks for understanding and have a Happy New Year!

Apologies for the lack of updates over the last couple of days, but I've had a lot going on in preparation for Christmas, including plenty of time with family. I'm currently trying to get a new job right now, and I went to go see the new Avatar movie yesterday, which was pretty cool. So sadly, here we are, post-Christmas with still 11 chapters. I can no longer guarantee that it'll be finished in time for New Year's, but it should be done before the end of the first week of the new year. I'm going to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert tomorrow, so time to even work on chapter 12 is going to be limited tomorrow. I might get some work in on Sunday after my interview, but we'll see what happens. Thanks for reading and understanding

Alright, an update from me regarding how I've been doing with this new story. I can safely say that Act 2 is at least close to, if not, over. The problem is that based on how the last few chapters got shaped based on how I wrote them and the details that went into them, it's unlikely I'll finish it tomorrow. The reason for this is because when I had originally planned this story, I wanted it to be between 10 and 12 chapters, but now it looks like I'll have 15-17, maybe even 18 chapters. So unless ALL of that gets written tomorrow, which is unlikely, I won't be able to finish this story in time for Christmas. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused anyone, but I will say this: The story will be done before 2026. Thank you for reading this and understanding.
