Hey Riverside here! it’s been a while, sorry for the delay on the multiverse project and its constituent stories. Going through some rough times that I’ll mention in the A/N of the first chapter but as a partial summary I’ve had a couple deaths at my workplace (age related not from accidents), along with breaking up with my girlfriend due to opposing life goals (peaceful breakup thankfully, we still talk and care for each other) also decided to take some college classes for IT and mechanical engineering to help distract myself as well as improve my skills.
          
          Plus side, multiverse chapter 1 is at roughly 7-8k words and I’m doing some proofreading to clean it up. I’m aiming for 7-10k words per chapter on the main story and with my current workload and pace I’d say expect one every quarter, first chapter releasing hopefully in early to mid March.

New update on the multiverse AU, first chapter is at 8k words and undergoing some proofreading. Second chapter is drafted up to 4K currently.
          
          Got a bit delayed since I got Covid again on top of my broken finger but plus side since I’m called off sick for work I can focus on this more.
          
          Otherwise after the proofreading I need to figure out a good book cover. Slapping together all the individual covers to make another one just seems too lazy.

Hey y’all! Last update before Christmas!
          
          Writing is going about as smoothly as it can go, my left hand is still out of commission for the time being but it’s healing well!
          
          I’ve even gotten into scale modeling (no dioramas yet), and a few projects that just so happen to also parallel some of the stuff that will be featured in upcoming stories.
          
          Currently I’m waiting for the clear coat on my P-47 model to dry, and as a bit of a hint for stuff to come: I’ve got an F-15 with a conversion kit, an M1 Abrams with some stuff I 3D printed, and a T-80
          
          These aren’t on any time-frame nor will they be a requirement for a story to be published, just as a happy coincidence to aid a story. They will be retroactively added to stories as well if I make a model that fits. Also don’t worry about these impeding publishing timelines, they are on my free time that I set aside for my own enjoyment.
          

Hey Riverside here! As some of you have seen in ‘The Arsenal’ book I’ve already got story covers made. Current release date for the first multiverse chapter should be around Christmas time and the first round of selected stories from the multiverse list should be ready sometime in January.

          So I’ve been inactive for a while… Anyway besides some work I have planned for existing stories, let me know which ones appeal to y’all the most!
          
          Winging It All:
          
          Izuku and a few familiar faces end up a tad too close to a violent fight between heroes and villains. He never makes it to the entrance exam, or home for that matter.
          
          Instead in a moment of desperation and urge to find out what happened to his father, he signs up to become a mercenary fighter pilot.
          
          AU: An alternate timeline/universe, far removed from the usual song and dance. Heavily inspired by "Area 88".
          
          Scum of the Earth:
          
          " 'We get our hands dirty so the world stays clean' Are you kidding me? I ain't doing this 'to keep the world clean' for the damn snowflakes they're paying me six figures to kill motherfuckers with less brain activity than a comatose patient. My god people with enemies are so stupid these days, no fun in sneaking in or angling for a shot! Just blast your way in, blast your way out. 20 minutes!"
          
          AU: Izuku never got OFA, or bullied, or attention... What he lacks of in a quirk factor he gains in an inherent control of his presence. So plain looking he could disappear in a crowd of two, or suppress the entire National Diet with a single glare.
          
          Service Beyond Death:
          
          The quirk singularity is no longer a theory, but an existential threat to the continuity of humanity. Tens of thousands are dying in quirk related accidents and millions are constantly at risk of being displaced every day.
          
          One For All refuses to die. If anything it has thrived more so than when All For One was around, yet before his second year even starts the UN gives him a deal, and he can hardly refuse their offer. (May or may not have some spice in it idk)

          Well this year’s already been wack as hell. Can’t wait for the next 10 months.
          
          Already my aunt died, my mother almost died, and I’ve got to go a solo East to West coast drive with a car loaded near maximum and towing a harbor freight trailer I bought asap for the trip :/
          
          Plus side I‘ll get a crap ton of new writing material and a lot of free time at rest stops so be sure to stop on by for when a new story gets posted!

Q/A regarding this account’s status:
          
          But first some BS:
          
          *Riverside and Fireside playing DCS in an F-14*
          
          Fireside (Pilot): “You know if you don’t finish you technically don’t fail NNN.”
          
          Riverside (WSO): *Trying to focus on something else* “Wtf man”
          
          
          Yeah, Me (Riverside) and Fireside play DCS occasionally. I’m his WSO whenever we play the F-14 though now that the F-4E from Heatblur just dropped I might switch, I drive the F-4E the most in War Thunder after all.
          
          
          Also to address some questions:
          
          Q - Why are the story updates taking so long?
          A - I’m talking a lot with Fireside about some of the stuff he’s left for me and what he originally planned, additionally my writing style is supposed to be hyper-realistic and as some of the failed stuff has shown, trying to force it into Fireside’s style ends horribly.
          
          Q - What could we expect in the future?
          A - Well, not to spoil anything but I’ve been doing an extreme level of research by traveling and photographing down in Pensacola Florida, and Dayton Ohio, plus several interviews. Oh and the number “88” for the older among us might ring a bell.
          
          Q - Are you abandoning any stories?
          A - Unfortunately that is likely, which ones I don’t know but many of them just aren’t compatible with the way I’d write and would require an entire rewrite (which I might do) it would be incredibly jarring to go from one author to another halfway in the story.
          
          Q - Are you still continuing with MHA fanfics or moving toward original works?
          A - Both. At my current rate the Fanfics will probably serve as a trial run to see how a fully independent series would do.

          My brain immediately afterward toward my horrified coworker: “Mondays am I right?”
          
          I ain’t too bad. My right thumb got chewed up but nothing a few stitches and some superglue can’t fix. Didn’t even need to go to the hospital since I know how to suture wounds. Thankfully I’m left handed so I can still type and I only need my pointer finger on my right hand to use a mouse.
          
          Granted it hurt like hell an hour later after the adrenaline wore off.
          
          And yes I did eventually go to see a doctor but just for them to check the stitches and general wound.
          
          For some ungodly reason between me (Riverside) and Fireside whomever is currently active on this account is the one getting injured all the time. During his initial start Fireside would get all sorts of cuts and scrapes and accidents, after he passed the account to me no more! And likewise the opposite for me.
