Just making a joke is boring. The reaction is very limited and short. Might as well dedicate a couple of nights to continuity and research to help better that joke. That way in then end, you can spend hours on a joke that will constantly reappear, slowly becoming stale and draining your life of whatever keeps you moving. Or, you can make a joke. But where's the fun in that?
