Hey guys! I'm thinking about moving to AO3 ? How would you feel about that? Let me know! :)

FizzabelWayne

Are you ready? ;)

@FizzabelWayne ah ok that scared me for a second because that book is the most wonderful Damian x reader ever to read both online and off line

@FizzabelWayne did you really update tainted love? because it's not letting me read it and it says that you haven't updated it since 2017 so what happened?

What do you mean I can only read two stories offline (╥﹏╥)

residentblackheart

I just dislike the new update. It needs so long to load, it has only two stories in a bar(?), it has to load the library all the time even if you are just a second away from it and most importantly is this offline thing unnecessary. You could read the last four stories that you read offline without that thing.

I feel like there are quite a few stories that are popping up that are glorifying depression at the moment. This really annoys me, especially as some of the writers clearly have no idea what they're writing. Depression isn't something that people should portray as desirable (it seems that anxiety disorders also commonly fall into this category)
It's great that mental health is starting to be talked about and tough to people, but this is not the way to do it.
I would like to write a story where the main character has depression based on personal experience but I feel like it wouldn't do very well and just be a miserable read so...
(Also I'm not saying that every story involving depression is doing this, there just seems to be a lot that are at the moment)

@FizzabelWayne I know I have a story or three involving depression and other mental illnesses. I know that these are no joke, and that's why I make sure to use my personal experiences and do plenty of research before posting. I like that you are bringing up the fact that some people are "glorifying" it.

I think you should go for it. Depression shouldn’t be joked or commented on in the way it is nowadays. I think if you wrote a story adding in things you’ve experienced would help. Even if it isn’t read over a million times it could help anyone that reads it.
