FLAVIO CASSINE Born in Turin (Italy) in the winter of 1966. 
As a teenager he sees his life committed in various sectors of the arts. At 13 he was playing the saxophone, just like his father did in his youth. He then gives his voice in a hard-core band and later becomes a dj for few radio stations in the Turin area. He finally starts a collaboration with the most important “alternative” radio in the Piedmont area: Radio Torino Popolare. He continues musical activities by studying percussions and putting together a band: “Slight Collision”. The band favored “live” performances. They played many concerts around the Piedmont region and spent many evenings rehearsing in a pub’s basement in Turin. At the same time he feels the need to change from sound to visual artistic expression and starts to concentrate his efforts on photography.
THE TWENTY AND MORE YEAR AFTER THOSE DAYS, HAVE BEEN MADE OF PICTURES TAKEN IN EVERY COR-NER OF THE PLANET, DISCOVERING THAT, ENCLOSED IN A RECTANGULAR SHAPE, THE CHARM OF THE LIGHT AND THE ARTS STAY UNCHANGED.
Always a pacifist and vegetarian for over 30 years.
