How do I join this group and participate?
Hi @DVLobo_Writes thanks for your interesting in our club! The active group we have at the moment is in the 'Flexible Book Exchange' book posted on our profile. The second chapters goes into detail about the reading exchange and the 3rd chapter has information on how to join. Please let me know if you have any other questions :)
With May quickly on its way, our new exchange chapter should be out tomorrow. It's great to see some new people joining and familiar 'faces' returning. I have just published a new poem and I would like it to be included in the March exchange, let me know if there is any possibility.
@LePhilosophedeLombre Hi sorry about the late reply, it's been a busy month. Typically in your first month in the exchange we only list one story, but if you are still welcome to ask people to read it. If you fill out a form before the end of March for it, I can list it as your 2nd work for April. For the quiz question, just writing 2nd poem/story, no need to complete it again.
The March exchange is posted! Unfortunately there are no username tags in the exchange chapter this round since Android story editing is down again, and I can't ever seem to get them to work on PC. You'll find this month's stories in the FBE March 2026 reading list. Happy reading :)

For those who haven't seen it, I've made a change to the sign-up/hiatus process for the book club. (If you've already read the 'hiatus/leaving/returning/story updates chapter', it's the same as described there).

To return to the club as a past member, simply comment on the above mentioned chapter in the designated section before the 1st of the month and you'll be added into the upcoming exchange. That chapter will active throughout the year so you can let me know anytime that you'd like to return.
If you're active in the club right now, your story will be automatically carried into the following month unless you request a hiatus (in the same chapter) or your exchange are not complete before the 1st of the month. You can also use that chapter to update your book club form.
New members are still done via the sign-up chapter.

December was also the 84th month that FBE has been running which adds up to 7 years of FBE operating! Thank you so much to @bigfivedonaldduckfan and @MarCafeWrites for their help running the club, and thank you to all our past and present members for sharing your writing and time to encourage your fellow writers. I've met some truly wonderful people through this club and am very grateful for that.

@bigfivedonaldduckfan Neither can I. I think when I started this it was just meant to be for the summer in 2018 before I started getting back into teaching full time XD. It's a pleasure to have you here and run the club together. Happy to have met you as well and I hope that 2026 is kind to you too ❤️

Our December exchange chapters are out. The tags that I usually use in the exchange chapter aren't working as they should, as I usually add them in via mobile, but it won't let me edit any of the FBE chapters on my phone while telling me the app has a bug. My attempt via PC doesn't seem to have worked, so my apologies for that. I'll try to add them in later when Wattpad is working on mobile again. Happy reading :)
