I have a story concept if you want one for this year's segment of Sodor Horror Stories. If you don't plan to continue it it's fine but here is the story anyway.
A stormy Halloween night has made it hard for the engines to sleep, so the engines and crane at Knapford Sheds (Murdoch, Harvey, Arthur, Stanley, Emily, and Rocky) seeing as it's pointless to try to, decide to swap stories. Murdoch and Arthur bring up seeing a ghost back on LMS Rails as they try to bury the sad story, Rocky and Stanley press them for details, and the two tell the story of the spectral banker of the Lickey Incline. They talk about the old Midland Railway engine that served the incline an engine named Bertha. After talking about her history there and her unfortunate scrapping. Rocky asks how is this related to the ghost story, and Murdoch responds she is still banking trains that stall on her hill. Arthur then chimes in that he has seen her pushing a stalled train up the hill only weeks after her scrapping. As they talk about how she is still doing her job even in death, Outside the shed the old engine's ghost smiles and with a crash of thunder vanishes......
